Add a volume control to 1pixelout player

Today, i revisited the orginal site where i found 1pixelout player. To my amazement , Martin Laine the original developer had released a new version 2 for Wordpress. Almost 2 years of inactive development, it's refreshing to see it back on the block with a nice feature.

He finally added a volume control to the player, yay! total credits goes to Martin Laine. What's more, to have a volume control for use in any version that has been ported is actually very simple. For example, the Joomla version i released.

All you need to do is:

  • download the Worpdress plugin and unpack the zip file.
  • NOTE: You need to install the joomla 1.5.x 1pixelout plugin first before following the next step
  • Once you unzipped the Wordpress plugin, navigate to /asset folder. Find and copy the file player.swf
  • Copy and overwrite the file /plugins/content/1pixelout/player.swf with the one found in the wordpress plugin (ie, in assets folder) you downloaded following the steps above

That is all. This was only tested on Joomla 1.5.x. It should also work with Joomla 1.0.x though i have not tested it.
