Finally, we have a new version of 1pixelout player for Joomla

That's right, we finally have a new update of 1pixelout player for Joomla and this one works on J1.5 and 1.6 version. I know some changes in the new Joomla has rendered this plugin somewhat unusable but these have been fixed in this new version.

What's more, it's been quite a significant update (added volume control and width size is changeable too) so maybe it will get it's own one page website? we'll see...

I have to say, a big thanks to Marco Del Percio who decided to rewrite most part of the outdated scripts and have add swfobject js to make it more standard compliant.

I am Marco Del Percio, the Italian author of this new version for 1pixelout Joomla plugin.
I wanted to thank Duvien for giving me credit and I hope this new plugin will be useful for all of you.
I was using the old 1pixelout extension of Duvien for a project of mine when I decided to make a customized new version that is the porting of the more up-to-date WP Audio Player; then I contacted Duvien and we decided to publish it.
The very hard part of the job was making the plugin compatible both with Joomla 1.5 and the future Joomla 1.6. In the moment I am writing, very few extensions are compatible with the new Joomla 1.6 maybe we are the first MP3 player extension Joomla 1.6 compliant :-)
I have tried to translate the plugin in 5 different languages (en,it,fr,de,es) so hopefully it will be as simple as clear enough to use even for people of other countries.
