Yummy FTP, go take a bite out of it and it wouldn't be the last

FTP programs isn't something i like using especially when you have SSH access to a remote server. We've all had our fair share of frustration when it comes to downloading or uploading many files to our web server having to sit and wait a long time. Worst still when you suddenly realised you have been disconnected from the server or that the connection breaks while away to fetch a cup of coffee, then having to start FTP'ing again.
Well that is until i discovered Yummy FTP. After trying out their trail program, Yummy FTP claims really live up to its expectations. I used to use Transit FTP on my Mac and believe me it's frustrating as there has never been one time that it hasn't disconnected from the remote server while files are uploading. This results in having to re-upload again.
But not Yummy FTP, it does happen (losing connection to server) but it seems to just keep churning on to connect and does succeed in doing so, then automatically resumes from uploading files. So now i can safely leave my Mac and rest assure that it will be completed by the time i get back, and not waste anymore time in a pointless waiting game...
Speed it important to me, it makes me more productive when i have time to get on with other things and this is what i appreciate about Yummy FTP, it is fast at what it does well.
So my conclusion, "well done" Yummy FTP - probably the best FTP i've used on a Mac and actually beginning to feel FTP isn't that bad after all. Go take a bit out of Yummy FTP and believe you'll be back for another bite.
