Today, i upgraded MAMP 5 to version 6. When i start the app, it just crashed so i started it up again and it crashed again. I'm running MacOS 12.1 (Monterey)
What seems to be the problem? a quick google reveals that the issue could be system Integrity Protection (SIP). It is a security feature of macOS designed to make it even more difficult for malware to access important system files, keeping them safe from unwanted modifications.
So i followed this guide to disable it.
I start up MAMP again and this time it worked. Therefore, that was the issue preventing MAMP to start up. I hope MAMP fixes this in next release because it's not really ideal to disable SIP.
